During MRO Show in Barcelona, Socomore signed a license and distribution agreement for the exclusive manufacturing and distribution of the 3CHEM Corporation range of coatings in EMEA, Asia Pacific and India.
This licensing agreement completes Socomore existing range of aerospace coatings, with technologies that will offer new solutions to its current customers and will open new opportunities in different applications. 3CHEM Corporation has more than 60 years of experience in laboratory-controlled formulations, testing, and the manufacturing and processing of advanced materials protection coatings, in the US.
3CHEM manufactures its main products in a state-of-the-art 100,000ft2 facility in Oklahoma while its custom colour matching laboratory, manufacturing and distribution facility are located in Florida. In its coating range, 3CHEM proposes some coatings which have been listed on the AMS 3095 QPL and approved for use on Airbus and Boeing aircraft fuselage exteriors, plus a basecoat/clearcoat paint system qualified to Embraer MEP 10-125 Type 1.
3CHEM will benefit from Socomore’s connections with aerospace manufacturers and Maintenance service providers to expand sales in EMEA, Asia Pacific & India.
Both companies’ teams will work together to propose solutions meeting their customer unique specifications, such as composite surface protection coatings, zero VOC coatings, and extended life coating systems. The implementation of a business and supply chain organization plan will be worked on during the coming months with the teams.
